I’m honored to share that Capital One Philippines brought home two recognitions at the inaugural 2025 American Chamber of Commerce Corporate Social Impact (CSI) Awards! This is another proud moment that puts a spotlight on our Community Impact and Investment programs.
The AmCham Philippines CSI Awards celebrates companies that lead the way in corporate social responsibility, showcasing impactful projects that inspire and uplift communities.
Our Road to 100 Water Towers program won a Silver Award under the Health and Emergency Assistance category. In partnership with Planet Water (PWF), this initiative is part of our broader mission to bring clean drinking water to underserved communities and help respond to disasters. By October of this year, we will have built 100 water towers and we couldn’t be any prouder of this achievement.
Additionally, our Green Solutions program won a Bronze Award under the Sustainability and Resource Management category. Our Global Workplace Solutions team works closely with our local Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to create volunteering opportunities to support our environmental sustainability efforts, such as coastal clean-up and our Road to Zero (carbon) initiative that educates and helps our associates track their own contribution to minimizing carbon footprint.
These wins affirm our long-term commitment to Investing for Good, and supporting high-impact initiatives that meet both the immediate and long-term needs of our community partners.
What's our secret sauce? It’s the incredible spirit of volunteerism among our associates. We don't just talk about effecting positive social change - it's deeply embedded in our culture. The dedication, hands-on approach, and strong sense of purpose drive our performance and motivate us to undertake more sustainability efforts at scale.
Hats off to our amazing leaders, volunteer-associates and teams who keep setting the bar high year after year. We’re on the right track and we’ll continue to accomplish more together.
