The role serves to support the consulting efforts of Corporate Security;
providing advice and solutions to COPSSC’s lines of business (LOBs) based on established standards and policies that mitigate physical security risks,
provide input in creating and enhancing processes to complete CSSs responsibilities with respect to the Physical Security Control Program,
ensuring compliance by security vendors to service level agreements and KPIs
conducting moderately complex and routine security investigations. Partners with one or more clients through a combination of internal relationship management, applied business analysis and project participation. Participates in assurance reviews of existing and emerging facilities and security programs (Facility Security Reviews, Security and Life Safety Program Reviews). Executes tests and programs to assess compliance with security-related policies, procedures and applicable banking laws and regulations (including Non-Associate Background Screening Process). Typically works under general supervision, with some latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Responsible for planning, organizing and executing assurance reviews of the Non-Associate Background Screening Process
Contributes to internal Corporate Security Services (CSS) project work. Executes basic to moderately complex projects based on security expertise and direction from managers. Participates in design and execution of more complex security projects
Conducts moderately complex and routine security investigations
Prepares and implements plans to provide direct support to clients as needed. Provides inputs into the development of work plans.
Leverages his/her specialized knowledge and skills, providing management with insight into his/her area of subject-matter expertise
May establish and build a working relationship with line management and others. Typically works independently under general to limited supervision, and has latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Participates in strategic planning based on subject-matter expertise.

Educational Background:Bachelor’s Degree in an area of study related to the position or equivalent workplace experience. Professional certification in the area of expertise. Current examples include: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or host-nation equivalent preferred.
Professional Experience: Security professional with a 2-3 years of experience in physical security, threat management, investigation, auditing in a corporate environment
Skill Required:Sound knowledge of physical security standards, procedures and policies; Sound knowledge of generally accepted investigative standards, principles and techniques used in the investigation of financial and white collar crimes; Experience with REID method or other interview methods; Sound knowledge of generally accepted audit standards, principles and techniques used in the evaluation of systems of internal controls; Proficient in data processing and fluent in digital practices; Strong relationship building skills and ability to work in a team environment; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Problem solving skills; Project management skills

Anti-Money Laundering (AML): Supports the AML process through list screening operations (new and existing accounts) which may include suspicious activity investigations and other processes. Also, works closely with AML Unit Managers and AML Process Managers to perform other critical functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage suspicious activity case work in a timely and efficient manner
- Execute a variety of tasks in support of the conduct of investigations
- Conduct a first level investigation
- Summarize in writing, suspicious activity for advanced investigation
- Escalate cases and issues as appropriate for advanced investigation and analysis
- Build and maintain awareness of the broader context and implications of the various types of risk affecting the business (e.g. financial, legal, reputation, etc.)
- Assist with filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (U.S.) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (Canada) in accordance with regulations and time limitations
Back Office Processing: Handles incoming disputes from customers to resolve issues on credit bureau scores and assist in updating actual information
Collections: Handles incoming and outbound calls to provide customers debt information, help resolve delinquent accounts by recommending solutions, and assists customers with other account-related concerns
Fraud / Disputes: Handles inbound and outbound calls to identify and investigate possible fraudulent activities, taking actions on securing account protection, and assist customers and merchants in clearing fraud and dispute concerns
Servicing: Handles incoming calls to provide customers credit card usage information, verification of payment, online technical support, and assist customers with other account-related concerns
Training: Delivers new-hire training and operational training to associates

High School Graduate
1 year of Experience in Banking Industry preferred for AML Sr. Ops Reps

To provide technical assistance by supervising and coordinating work pertaining to technical problems on the organization’s computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all other computer related problems for immediate troubleshooting.
Operational Performance
Supervises the response to user queries and computer problems including printing, installation, cable connection, word processing, electronic mail and other desktop issues
Supervises the installation and troubleshooting peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers, telephones and storage devices
Supervises the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of email applications or virus protection software and other desktop configurations
Escalates requests, especially pertaining to network connections, to the appropriate party, as needed; Includes coordinating user access for staff to the US team

College graduate, preferably IT, Computer Science or Engineering degree
3 years working experience in related discipline, with 1 year in supervisory role Microsoft Certification is an advantage
Preferably has experience in ITIL
Preferably has knowledge in Project Management, Process Improvement, Data Privacy Act and IT Risk Compliance
Skills Required: Solid understanding of computer systems and processes Proficient in MS Office, Technical skills, Good written and verbal communication skills

Manages the timely and accurate preparation of various reports such as but not limited to the following: P&L variance reports for the assigned LOB’s and Cash Utilization report, etc.
Performs initial investigation and variance analysis of actual operating expenses vs. budget for the assigned LOB’s
Conducts regular review of budget with LOB’s and provides the necessary guidance to optimize the company’s financial resources
Generates and analyzes historical expenses and trends for assigned LOB’s
Simulates the operating budget projection based on historical and latest run rates
Assists the LOB’s in analyzing and validating their historical run rates

Prepares the working template for the annual budget planning and quarterly forecasting
Acts as a back-up for the loading of budget adjustments in the system
Handles the budget set-up for the PR-tracking process
