Manila, Philippines -- Since 2013, Capital One Philippines Support Services Corporation has been investing in its Filipino associates by powering their workplace through tech innovations. Recognizing that companies are being transformed by technology, the financial services firm believes that creating a workplace with innovative facilities and services will inspire its associates to remain excellent and deliver a great customer experience everyday.
“Technology has a huge impact on the way we work here in Capital One. We continuously expand our investment in digital transformation not just to build a leading information-based workplace, but also to empower our associates and give them the tools they need to be more efficient and productive at work,” shares Peter Hayden, Capital One Philippines General Manager.
Testament to this is the company’s Power Up Bar, where associates go to resolve any tech-related problems. Whether it’s having their headphones and laptops fixed to resetting their passwords and addressing software glitches, the tech hub enables associates to receive immediate response on their technological requirements and issues on the gadgets they use at work. More than being a tech support center, the Power Up Bar is also there to immerse associates in technology and help them understand and experience a part of Capital One’s digital transformation.
“Capital One Philippines provides customer service to our clients and for them to do it well, they must have the same level of experience when it comes to resolving problems. This is our way of matching what they do,” says Hayden.
The Power Up Bar was installed in both sites in Alabang and operates 24/7 to provide flexibility and accessibility in supporting the associates’ tech needs.
This shows Capital One Philippines’ commitment to remaining a workplace of choice -- a workplace that utilizes technology to give way to a more knowledgeable, productive, and engaged workforce.
“Everybody loves the Power Up Bar. Aside from getting a great customer service experience, associates also get an additional shared space where they can work and collaborate while waiting for their units to be checked or repaired. With these types of innovations, companies are able to provide a new kind of learning experience and tech immersion to their teams, creating the workplace of the future,” shares Hayden.
